About Me

I’m Andrea Pinedo, cellist, luthier, and owner of Alma Strings! I went to University of Northern Colorado for my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Cello Performance, and then Red Rocks Community College for Lutherie! After working for a music store in Denver, I decided to open a shop in my home in Evans, Colorado.

I am a perfectionist and dealt with playing injuries, so instrument comfort is very important to me! I feel it’s especially important for beginning musicians- an easy-to-play instrument is fun to play!
